The motto for this year is: Let everything happen to you in love! 1. Kor 16,14
A few chapters earlier, in the well-known 13th chapter of Corinthians, Paul writes to the Corinthians that love is even greater than faith and hope (1 Corinthians 13, 13). The Holy Scriptures, especially in the New Testament, repeatedly refer to the importance of love.
Jesus Christ showed his love by going to the cross for us. We can see this as a great example of how to work for selfless love in our lives and in our surroundings in order to shine as Christians.. I would also like to encourage you to love yourselves, to accept your own weaknesses and to grow in self-love and self-acceptance with God’s help. Why? Because otherwise it becomes difficult to let all things happen in love. With a despondent, self-condemning heart, we are blocked from loving our neighbor.
Let Jesus Christ love you despite failures, doubts, selfishness, self-esteem problems and also let Him love you when God’s grace fills your heart and your life and you can really rejoice.
We at Mission Up love to serve and it is our goal to make everything happen in love with God’s help.
