Skills School: earning a living
Our partner organisation in Uganda is already running a car workshop in Kampala, the Mission Destiny workshop. In order to provide young people with practical training after school, we would like to further develop this area of work together with the local organisation.
Training as a way to escape poverty
has existed since 2017. The car workshop where young people are trained as car mechanics
Mubende will now offer the crafts of construction, woodworking, textile processing and sewing. Handicraft training offers the best prospects for jobs in Uganda. Many craftspeople become self-employed and thus create their own jobs.
We are currently collecting money for:
A new training building (incl. purchase of land and equipment).
Required funding: approx. 25,000 euros
Donate to this project and enable young people in Uganda to support themselves through education.
Measures that have been realised with donations to date:
Motor vehicle workshop for training mechanics
