Healthcare: caring for people

We want to ensure good medical care for the students in Mubende and the surrounding villages. At the moment, the healthcare situation at the school and in the surrounding area is not ideal. Therefore, it is our heart's desire to build a small healthcare centre.

Promoting health

The healthcare centre is to be run by the nurse who was hired with the help of Mission UP, and who currently takes care of basic medical care at the school. In addition, a doctor will come to see the patients at fixed times every week. Planning provides for a building directly attached to the school with five rooms and six in-patient beds. In the long term, the infirmary will also be accessible to the general population.

We are currently collecting money for:

Medication (malaria, typhoid, antibiotics) for the students

Required funding: approx. 6,000 euros

With your donation you will improve the healthcare situation for many people in Mubende.

Construction of a well for clean drinking water.
