Prison outreach in Kasambya
We are so grateful that God has now granted us access to the prison in Mubende/Kasambya again. This time we traveled with a team from the Ugandan ministry “Friends of Jesus Ministries” and a pastor from the local church.
“You are always welcome” comes from the mouth of the prison management. Wow!
We organize a church service and the inmates express the wish for Mission UP to visit the prison again. This time we are to perform a baptism.
Sunday 3 weeks later, a deep hole is dug in the prison yard, a tarpaulin is laid out and water is poured in. We are allowed to baptize 38 inmates, pray for them, praise God and sing songs. Everyone involved is grateful for this special day.
