We visit a new school in Kyanga Masindi. The principal Emilio followed God’s call and gave up his job in the capital Kampala almost 1.5 years ago to set up a Christian school in the bush in Kyanga/Masindi.
Children in this region had to walk 12 kilometers in one direction if they wanted to go to school. Consequently, school attendance was only possible from a certain age if the distance was manageable for the children. Now this school is to close the gap and provide an education for the children of this region.
Mission UP would like to further promote the development of the school, encourage the children and the school management and support the promotion of Christian values.
