Proverbs 5:15: Drink water from your own cistern
Water tanks for the almost 400 inmates of the prison in Uganda/Kaweeri.
During our last mission trip to the prison in Kaweeri, we were told about the plight of the inmates. On many days of the year, there is no tap water for drinking, cleaning and washing clothes. The official water supply system in the region sometimes breaks down for days at a time, causing great difficulties in the region and also in the prison.
Last month, Mission UP provided money for 2× 10,000, i.e. a total of 20,000 liters of water tanks and built the project together with the “Friends of Jesus”. We give all the glory to God who provided the financial and human resources.
The prison management and inmates were very grateful.
